The president brought up the amnesty issue again the other day in front of a mostly sympathetic Texas crowd. For those of you can stand it, and want to see a text of the speech you can get it here. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2010/07/01/transcript-of-obamas-immigration-speech/

The issues haven’t changed since the last time he did this in 2009. Once again, he is calling for a general amnesty of what might very possibly be 30-40 million people without demonstrating control of the southern border of the United States.

Quite simply if we leave it up to the Barack Obama’s of the world, America will change into something else than it is now. That country that Obama points to because of its generous immigration policies over the previous 250 years, will become only a footnote in history. Without securing the borders first, the new immigrants the president is so eager to initiate will be supplanted by ten, or twenty or thirty million more illegals from south of the border.

Is Obama that callous about the greatness of America that he is willing to throw it all away for votes that will keep the democrats in power? What good is the Democratic Party rule if what they are ruling over is no longer the United States?

For those of you who are just beginning to understand how this problem is something we must all deal with, look at Los Angeles, ground zero for this problem. L.A. was going through what most other large U.S. cities are now experiencing back in the 50s and 60s. Today L.A. is largely an Hispanic city. Unless you are lucky enough to live in one of the very few American enclaves that still exist, you are at a disadvantage if you do not speak Spanish and understand Hispanic culture.

Southern California is largely lost to the union in this fight, but that doesn’t mean you have to give your American sovereignty up in the rest of the country. Use us here in Los Angeles as the example of what’s in store for us if we allow Obama to get his way.

This is what you can expect in the coming years if we grant amnesty  without closing the border.

In Los Angeles and its surrounding communities,

Civil laws are not enforced for non citizens. There are so many illegals and they use so many different names that it is almost impossible for  authorities to tag and fine people who illegally put additions onto their homes, keep animals in their backyard which are not sanctioned within city limits. They break occupancy laws, food laws, and build sidewalk businesses which starve out legitimate mom and pop store front businesses, who because they are American and traceable are forced  to pay their taxes and   fees to run their businesses while the sidewalk vendors get a pass.

Let me just give you one small example of which I have had personal experience.

A couple of years ago the city of Compton had such a problem with illegal garage conversions they decided to clamp down on these violations and steer people into bringing the additions up to meet city codes and standards, for health, safety and fire. I know this because I was the one who was hired to write the manual for turning these illegal garage conversions into dwellings to meet the minimum American standard of living. The program largely failed because they just couldn’t get illegals to comply. The last I heard they just gave up trying.

This happens in every facet of Southern California life.

Obama needs to be educated on the America out there that is scared enough to stand up and say no amnesty until the border is closed and stays closed.

Either that or in twenty to thirty years you can just begin to refer to this place as El Norte.
